Shoulder Update - post surgery

All I remember is that I was lying down on the patient trolley and was being taken to the surgery room. I don't recall when they administered the anesthesia and I have no recollection of the surgery room. When I finally came to senses, I opened my eyes and saw Manju's smiling face as if to indicate that the surgery went well.

Shoulder Update - pre-surgery

In that post I had mentioned that based on an interview with Dr Loren Fishman that I heard on NPR, I was going to try the practice of headstand to deal with my torn rotator cuff. Reducing High Blood Pressure through yoga

Nearly 30% of adults aged 18 years of age and older in the U.S. suffer from hypertension or high blood pressure. The disease is often called a silent killer, as most individuals experience few if any symptoms. Left unchecked hypertension increases the risk for cardiac illness including heart attack, heart failure and stroke, and is also a major contributor to kidney disease.
