Ahimsa can be translated as non-killing, non-injury, non-hurting, non-violence etc. and applies to other living beings, the environment and to oneself. Injury can be caused through action (slapping or kicking someone), speech (saying harsh words) or thought (thinking evil about someone).

Surya Namaskar Yogathon Experience
The event was held on Saturday, March 1, 7:00-11:30 AM at the Hindu Temple in Morrisville and was attended by about 65 people. A large percentage of the participants completed the full set of 108 rounds. The event was followed by a vegetarian, freshly cooked meal which everyone enjoyed.

Michelle Obama doing more yoga
"Michelle Obama, who turned a ‘fit and fabulous’ 50 last Friday, told the People magazine that she’s tweaked her workout routine to do more yoga and less cardio with an eye toward her 70s and 80s. Daily yoga is also a key ingredient of ‘Let’s Move!’, a comprehensive initiative launched by the First Lady dedicated to solving the challenge of childhood obesity within a generation."
