Here is what the previous participants have to say…
“My experience of this yoga immersion program was very enriching on so many levels. From a physical perspective, I regained much loss of flexibility which naturally occurred after several years away from the practice. On personal and spiritual levels, the immersion opened the door to renewed discipline and brought meditation back into my daily routine. I deeply appreciated Subhash’s brief but very clear explanations of several verses of the Gita and of the Yoga Sutras …”
– Denise Bernier
“… Great experience overall. This is my first time learning yoga and that too doing it for 21 days in a row. These 21 days have been more energetic, happy, calm and my focus has been improved in everything I do regularly. I am becoming more flexible and balanced by each passing day….”
– Sphurthy Gangapuram
Daily Practice will include:
- Asana: We will practice a variety of asanas (physical postures) during these 21 days. Even though we will maintain the same overall routine, each day we will either introduce a new pose or practice variations of different poses. The asana practice will improve strength, flexibility, endurance and balance in different parts of the body.
- Pranayama: Various pranayama (breathing techniques) practices will include – kapalabhati (breath of fire), bhastrika (bellows breath), a number of deep breathing practices, Bhramari (humming bee breath), sectional breathing, cooling breaths, breath retention (kumbhaka), bandhas (energy locks) and more.
- Meditation: We will develop an understanding of what meditation is all about, its benefits, and practice a few simple meditation techniques
- Deep relaxation: Yoga Nidra (deep relaxation) helps not only relax the body but also helps calm the nerves, calm the mind and activate the parasympathetic nervous system which helps reduce stress levels
- Yoga philosophy: Concepts from yoga philosophy will be sprinkled through the practice of asana, pranayama and meditation so we can develop a deeper understanding of the yoga practice as well as learn more about ourselves, and how to keep the mind calm and peaceful.
Consider these benefits…
With a daily, uninterrupted and committed yoga practice for 21 days, you will reap these (any many more…) benefits:
