I am pleased to present an audio recording of the monthly workshop on the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali held on Saturday, 7/18/20.

We reviewed the sutras 2.15 through 2.24 which represent the underlying philosophy of Samkhya.

Sutra 2.25: tad-abhābāt-saṁyoga-abhāvo hānaṁ taddr̥śeḥ kaivalyam ॥25॥
Without this ignorance, union between Purusha and Prakriti does not occur. This is the independence of the Seer.
Sutra 2.26: viveka-khyātir-aviplavā hānopāyaḥ ॥26॥
Uninterrupted discriminative discernment is the method for its removal.
Sutra 2.27: tasya saptadhā prānta-bhūmiḥ prajña ॥27॥
One’s wisdom in the final stage is sevenfold.
